FAQ

How do I give staff permissions in the restaurant system?

Instructions for adding staff: send an invitation, set permissions, and disable the account when someone leaves.

Issue

A shared panel password means anyone can change the menu or prices, and when a staff member leaves, you need to update access for everyone.

What's changing

Individual accounts with precise permissions — plus the ability to disable an account without losing history.

Staff permissions step by step

Step 1: invite a staff member

Add a person to the panel — they get their own account and password.

Step 2: set permissions

Grant access to orders, menu, history, discount codes, or settings — individually for each person.

Step 3: kitchen view with orders only

A chef only needs access to orders in the kitchen view, without the rest of the panel.

Step 4: disable the account when someone leaves

You deactivate access, and the history of that person's actions stays in the system.

Tip: the owner always has access

The owner has full access regardless of the permissions assigned to staff.

Tip: the principle of least privilege

Grant only the permissions necessary for the job in that specific position.
